Loreen is an NYC based casting director with a decade of expertise in reality television. Her talent development and casting credits include ABC, Bravo, Food Network, TLC, E!, and Travel Channel. Prior to casting, Loreen worked as an art director and set stylist on several home-makeover shows before casting the premiere season of HGTV’s hit series, “Design Star”, where she discovered talent David Bromstad. She developed and cast TLC’s “Big Sexy” and “Playing with Fire” on E! On her never-ending search for the next big thing in TV, there’s nothing Loreen loves more than scouting talent that will make eyes pop and jaws drop!

Her career in the entertainment business started at the University of Oregon, as DJ and radio host on the campus radio station KWVA, and as a marketing intern for Indie record label “Grinning Idiot Records”. Since moving to New York City in 2000, she’s worked in studio management in music and audio post production, art direction for TV, and script writing for radio. In addition, Loreen taught a class on Reality TV casting at New York Film Academy. Prior to working in entertainment, she was a public school teacher for at-risk middle school students.
